The history of Free Evangelical Churches Fellowship in Greece

The fellowship of Free Evangelical Churches is the spiritual brotherhood, was founded around 1946 by Churches of Christ and Christian's in Greece for more than a century, and has the same doctrinal confession, based solely on the written word of God, the Bible. It is a purely Greek Spiritual Movement, where the Holy Spirit of God planted in our country. Churches are operated exclusively by Greeks, without foreign assistance, missions or churches; the purpose is to bear the clear message of salvation of Jesus Christ in our country.

The purpose is the mutual spiritual edification in the truth of Jesus Christ, the confession as personal Savior, Redeemer, and Lord and defends their right to worship God according to the Holy Word.

He is a member of the International Association of Free Evangelical Churches and established as an Association, a private legal entity, charitable, non-profit organization.

In October each year, conducts the General Assembly of the Representatives of the Churches, which compose it, to discuss common issues. By elected the Executive Ministries of collected representatives, two year term, which is the authorized body for the implementation of the decisions of the General Assembly and the service of the Churches, the diverse spiritual, physical and operational needs.

The Executive Ministries, representing the General Assembly, exercise spiritual oversight of the progress of these Churches, the jointly accepted principles of faith and worship.
